The creative DIY therapy approach was fostered from my own frustrations at dealing with mental health issues. I know how lonely and disheartening it can be to be stuck on a waiting list without knowing when, or if, the help you need will come. I’ve muddled my way through, I’m still muddling, but by immersing myself in books and journals and studies I’ve been able to gain multiple new perspectives that have helped me work some of this out on my own. Now I want to share it with you!

So Stitch Therapy Club was born. I'm not 'qualified', so to speak, to advise anyone on their mental health but I have been there, in the trenches, and come out the other side. Combining the coping strategies and reframing techniques I’ve picked up along the way with the calming and creative meditative art of embroidery, I hope to provide something a little different to those in need.

I really believe this membership can guide you on your journey to better managing your mental health. There is an alternative means of getting help and there are other ways besides the traditional the methods.
