Looking for a new coping skill to manage mental health and fancy trying something a little different?

Seen others use crafting and creativity to relax but not sure where to start?

Perhaps you could do with a community and group setting to motivate you and share ideas?

Combining the coping strategies and reframing techniques I’ve picked up on my own mental health journey with the calming and meditative art of embroidery, look no further for a creative community and monthly stitch-a-long to inspire you to take therapy into your own hands - literally!

When in the grips of my own mental health issues I needed something to relax my racing thoughts and ground me back in the present. I knew creativity and using my hands helped to keep me calm, so I mustered the energy to sketch onto fabric song lyrics and quotations that resonated with how I was feeling.

Three years later, through a monthly programme of embroidery and workshops, I’m excited to share exactly how I use the craft as therapy and have incorporated it into my daily routine to help maintain a sense of wellbeing.

daily live stitch guide videos

A private facebook group where you can speak to me - and each other - any time to get help with stitching, bounce off creative ideas, talk about mental health in a safe space, and make new friends! I’ll be in there each day posting prompts to make you think and reflect.

This is where the daily stitch videos will be broadcast and saved to watch back again any time. I go live for half an hour every day, Monday to Friday, to show you how to stitch a different part of the hoop.
